Star Citizen Contested Zone Ship List, Ship Parts and Squad Timer
A free, no-signup tool for Pyro contested zones. The Intel tab is a complete Star Citizen contested zone ship list: every ship the Executive Hangar can reward, its real drop chance, and the ship parts each one arrives fitted with, plus the components that spawn as loot in the reward room. The Ops tab is a live squad board where everyone types the same code to share comp board timers, supervisor key timers and who is carrying which item.
What is a contested zone in Star Citizen?
A contested zone is a high risk, high reward PvPvE area where players fight through an interior dungeon for loot that is hard to get anywhere else. There is no safe zone inside, other players are working the same rooms you are, and anything you are carrying drops when you go down. The Pyro zones sit inside Checkmate Station, Orbituary and Ruin Station, and the deepest room behind the Executive Hangar door holds the best rewards.
What is the Executive Hangar?
The Executive Hangar is the reward room at the end of an executive contested zone run. Opening it needs the squad holding all seven comp boards between them plus the supervisor keycards. The terminal inside pays out from a fixed reward pool rather than a random spread of loot, which is why knowing the ship list and the drop chances in advance changes how you plan a run.
Executive Hangar timer: how long is the cycle?
The hangar does not open at random. It runs on a fixed cycle, so the useful question is not whether it is open but how long until it flips. The countdown at the top of the Ops tab tracks that live.
185 minute cycle, 60 minute entry window Enter with only a few minutes left on the window and you will usually lose the run, so stage before it opens rather than after.
Executive Hangar ship list and drop chances
The reward terminal draws from thirteen entries covering eight hulls. Most hulls appear twice, once as a Military build and once as a Stealth build, which are the same airframe carrying different parts. These are the actual weights the terminal uses, read from build 4.10.191, and they total exactly 100 percent.
| Ship | Build | Drop chance |
|---|---|---|
| RSI Meteor | Collector Military | 20% |
| Mirai Guardian MX | Collector Military | 20% |
| RSI Scorpius | Stealth | 10% |
| Gatac Syulen | Exec Military | 5% |
| Gatac Syulen | Exec Stealth | 5% |
| Drake Cutlass Black | Exec Military | 5% |
| Drake Cutlass Black | Exec Stealth | 5% |
| Anvil F7A Hornet Mk II | Exec Military | 5% |
| Anvil F7A Hornet Mk II | Exec Stealth | 5% |
| Anvil F8C Lightning | Exec Military | 5% |
| Anvil F8C Lightning | Exec Stealth | 5% |
| Drake Corsair | Exec Military | 5% |
| Drake Corsair | Exec Stealth Industrial | 5% |
The two Collector Military entries are the most likely outcome at 20 percent each, so four in every ten payouts land on the Meteor or the Guardian MX. Every Exec variant sits at 5 percent, which makes the Syulen, Cutlass Black, Hornet, Lightning and Corsair equally rare. Open any entry on the Intel tab to see exactly what that build arrives fitted with.
How to use this contested zone tool
- Agree a squad code. Any word your group shares. Everyone types the same one into SQUAD_CODE and the board syncs between you automatically.
- Put your name in USER_NAME. Anything you pick up is tagged with it, so the group can see who is holding which comp board.
- Hit COLLECT when you grab something. That starts the respawn timer for that spot and adds the item to your operator inventory. Use ADJ if you need to correct a timer by hand.
- Use MOVE when you hand something off or stash it, so the board shows where the item actually is: Checkmate, Orbituary, Ruin Station, or on you.
- Watch for the ready banner. Once the squad is holding all seven comp boards between you, the board tells you that you are ready to open the hangar.
What each tab does
Ops Dashboard
The live half. A large countdown shows whether the Executive Hangar is currently open or sealed and how long until that flips, running on the hangar’s fixed 185 minute cycle with a 60 minute entry window. Below it sit individual timers for the two supervisor keycards and all seven comp boards across Checkmate Station, Orbituary and Ruin Station, plus a separate short-cycle timer for the Ruin Station vault door that you sync the moment you see it open. The squad storage panel on the right tracks every collected item and who has it.
Executive Hangar Intel
The reference half, and it needs no connection. It holds the full contested zone ship list and the matching ship parts breakdown, described below.
Star Citizen contested zone ship list
The Intel tab carries the complete Star Citizen contested zone ship list: all 13 entries in the Executive Hangar reward pool, covering 8 different hulls, each with the real weighted drop chance the reward terminal actually uses. Most hulls appear twice, once as a Military build and once as a Stealth build, which are the same airframe carrying different parts. Open any entry in that ship list to see exactly what it is fitted with.
Star Citizen contested zone ship parts
Two separate views cover Star Citizen contested zone ship parts. The component index lists all 57 distinct ship parts found across the reward pool, and is searchable in reverse: pick a part and see which reward ships carry it. Underneath, a full table covers the 28 ship parts that spawn as loot in the contested zone reward room itself, with complete stats for every one, split across 13 power plants, 8 shield generators and 7 coolers. Most are Military or Stealth grade parts that are not sold in shops, and each row shows how common it is relative to the rest.
About the data
Everything on the Intel tab is read directly from the game’s own record files for build 4.10.191.2241 sc-alpha-4.10.0 rather than collected from player reports, and is regenerated each patch. Where the game does not publish a figure, the tool says so instead of estimating one. Drop chances for the reward ships are the actual weights the reward terminal uses. The loot shares are spawn point eligibility, which is relative likelihood between those components rather than a per container drop rate, and the page states that distinction where the numbers appear.
Frequently asked questions
How long is the Executive Hangar timer?
The Executive Hangar runs on a fixed 185 minute cycle with a 60 minute entry window. The countdown on the Ops tab shows whether it is currently open or sealed and how long until that flips.
What ships can you get from the Executive Hangar?
Thirteen entries across eight hulls: the RSI Meteor and Mirai Guardian MX at 20 percent each, the RSI Scorpius at 10 percent, and Exec Military and Exec Stealth builds of the Gatac Syulen, Drake Cutlass Black, Anvil F7A Hornet Mk II, Anvil F8C Lightning and Drake Corsair at 5 percent each.
What do you need to open the Executive Hangar?
The squad needs all seven comp boards held between them plus the supervisor keycards. The board shows a ready banner once you are holding the full set, so you are not counting them by hand mid run.
Do you lose contested zone loot when you die?
Yes. Anything you are carrying drops where you go down, which is why squads usually consolidate onto one runner who leaves early rather than everyone carrying a share to the end.
Is this tool free?
Yes. It is free, needs no signup, and runs in the browser on desktop and mobile. The squad code is just a shared word, not an account.
