What to look for in a starter ship

Cargo Grid
Many missions require moving physicalized items. You need a dedicated cargo grid to secure containers.
PILLAR 02
Habitation
A bed enables Bed Logging, which saves your position in space. Internal storage is a bonus for medical and engineering loadouts.
PILLAR 03
Defense
You need pilot-controlled weaponry capable of handling basic PvE combat encounters, both fixed and gimballed.
PILLAR 04
Vehicle Capacity
Ideally, your ship fits a Greycat PTV or Hoverbike. Ground traversal on moons and planets is painfully slow without one.
Which upgrade path to pick
